DKNY LAS VEGAS
Client: Laird and Partners
In November of 2005, DKNY opened their new store in Las Vegas. I was asked to create dynamic video content for their four in-store projectors. The screen is eight feet tall and seventy feet wide.
My concept was to shoot with four cameras that would be mounted on a custom built rack. This set-up allowed me to create a play between the edges of the frames, giving a David Hockney Polaroid view of the city. By shifting the focal length of the cameras and the focus point of each image, I created an intricate collage of New York City.
